Secure your Spot for Vectorworks Design Day UK 2023

Design and BIM software provider Vectorworks invites architects, interior designers, landscape professionals, and site designers to join in person again this year for Vectorworks Design Day UK 2023. This in-person event will allow Vectorworks users to connect with fellow industry leaders and design enthusiasts and get a first-hand look at the latest software version, Vectorworks 2024.

Attendees can look forward to gaining valuable insight from real-world case studies presented by fellow professionals who successfully use Vectorworks software in their own work:

- Allan Joyce, ARB, RIBA of Allan Joyce Architects, will share how he successfully transitioned from traditional 2D workflows to the dynamic world of 3D and BIM and dive into the practice’s innovative use of Vectorworks Cloud Services.

- Sophie Entwistle, Principal-chartered landscape architect at Pegasus Group, will discuss utilising design software to work smarter, not harder, highlighting the ever-increasing importance of partnership between practitioner and software.

- Rachel Pickford, project architect, and Vectorworks lead at Sarah Wigglesworth Architects, will discuss one of the firm’s recent projects, a new residential neighbourhood in Nottingham, the Elms, and how they used Vectorworks to support the design development of housing typologies, streets, and public realm.

- I-AM Group Partner & Creative Strategy Director Pete Champion and Associate Director of Interior Design Kirsty Vance will take attendees on a journey through the ever-evolving landscape of hospitality design, specifically touching on how Vectorworks played a crucial role in realising the vision of Center Hotels.

Beyond exploring the upcoming software release and hearing these customer success stories, attendees can have their technical questions answered by Vectorworks experts and connect with like-minded designers and the Vectorworks team, forging new relationships and collaboration opportunities. Additionally, the senior leadership team will uncover the future of Vectorworks in an exclusive presentation, diving into plans from the Vectorworks Roadmap.

A compelling vision of tomorrow’s luxury interiors consumers & why their changing expectations will make new demands on design professionals

Join Ima Shah, Advisory Director at trends and insights experts Stylus, for a forward-thinking investigation of future luxury consumers. Ima will share her expertise in CMF and design trends, and her understanding of the luxury tribes that both drive and follow them.

This seminar summarises the findings of a major research project commissioned by House of Rohl earlier this year, and will be held at the stylish House of Rohl London showroom at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. Refreshments will be provided, and tickets are free to design professionals.

Ima Shah is one of the most respected professionals in her field, having worked in or with trends insight for over 20 years. She provides strategic advice to global brands – across multiple industries – on consumer trends, with a focus on colour, materials and finish. Through her work, she has lived in Germany and the US, and travelled across Africa, Europe, the Americas and Asia, giving her a deeper understanding of how people from vastly differing cultures and demographics relate to trends.

‘Decoding the Future of Luxury’, presented by the House of Rohl, offers a compelling vision of who tomorrow’s luxury interiors consumers will be, and why their changing expectations across home and lifestyle will make new demands on brands, architects and designers.
