Crucial Trading design, manufacture and distribute the finest carpets and rugs. Leading the way in creative floorcovering since 1986, the brand continuously explores innovative new weaves, textures and patterns using 100% natural materials. Designed in-house, the textiles are made from natural plant fibres or wool, always sourced with the environment in mind. With a choice of over 80 different ranges including award-winning designs such as Mississippi and Fabulous. Crucial Trading constantly explore new weaves and were the first company to create a new blend of floorcovering called Sisool – setting a new trend for the combination of tactile Sisal and soft wool. With an almost endless choice of versatile designs and colourways, the floorcoverings can be ordered as wall-to-wall carpet or as a bespoke rug or runner. Selecting from a wide range or borders and piping including cotton, suede and leather, the rugs are made to the customer’s specifications. As members of The Carpet Foundation, Crucial Trading adheres to the rigorous standards of service and consumer codes of practice, approved and monitored by the Trading Standards Institute. Crucial Trading’s trade department is located at the showroom on King’s Road, SW10 – part of Chelsea Design Quarter.
