Carolina Calzada-Oliveira, co-chairman of SBID Colour Council, is responsible for bringing innovative ideas about the use of colour and facilitating access to colour information to the Interior Design community that this association gathers. Carolina will be presenting a colour trends session at Clerkenwell Design Week, one of the leading interior design events in the UK. Cited as the world’s favourite colour, blue has fascinated humanity for centuries, and continues to do so. Looking ahead to 2020 we see nuances of this hue return to the forefront of global colour trend predictions for interior design. In an exploration into the influence of colour in different spaces, the audience will be taken on a journey through the practicalities of blue through applied colour psychology, with a focus on interior designers working on commercial projects.
