Can I enter this competition?

To qualify for this design competition, participants must be currently enrolled or graduated within 1 year of competition entry in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree at a UK University.

If you are studying Interior Design, you must also be studying your course at one of our Recognised or Accredited Universities.

 

What do I have to do to enter?

To submit your entry, you must complete the entry form along with up to 5 images of your final year project to support your submission.

The entry form must include the following;

  • The project brief
  • How the brief has been achieved
  • Any challenges experienced and how you overcame these hurdles
  • What, in hindsight, would you have done differently (i.e. more time, improvements, etc.)

 

When is the deadline?

The deadline has now passed.

 

Who will be judging our entries?

We gathered some of the world’s best experts across five competition creative sectors which include Amazon, John Lewis, Sebastian Conran and more. To view the full judging panel click here

 

When will I know if I have been successful?

Finalists will be announced here on 29 October. Prizes will be presented to the overall winner and five category winners, as well as the visionary tutor in a ceremony held in the House of Commons in London on 29 November.

 

What happens if I am shortlisted?

You will be contacted by email and invited to attend the ceremony on 29 November in the House of Commons in London.

 

What can I win?

The overall winner will win £30,000 in cash. Category winners will win £1,000 each. You will also be featured in promotional activity after the ceremony.

 

Do I have to pay to enter?

No, it is free to enter, you just need to submit your end of year project.

 

How many times can I enter?

You can submit one entry per category.

 

How should I send my entry?

You must complete the entry form, supporting images should be in a JPEG format (at least 300dpi but no larger than 2MB each). File names should include the full name of the entrant, category entered and title of the work. Eg. Mary Smith, Interior Design, A&B Shopping Mall.
