All ‘Change’ for HIX Europe – a New Home for the Next Chapter of Hotel Design

HIX Europe, the dedicated hotel design event bringing together Europe’s hospitality interiors community, returns on 25-26 November 2026, moving to its new home at Excel London as a connected, curated campus for hotel design.

Alongside an expanded exhibition of leading design brands, HIX Europe will bring together two days of talks, installations, activations, networking and new product discovery – all designed around the people and ideas shaping the guest experience.

The 2026 theme is ‘Changes’.

Change is central to every stage of hospitality design. Brands evolve. Spaces are transformed. Technology reshapes how hotels operate. Guest expectations shift. And designers continually rethink how a hotel can look, feel and function.

For HIX Europe 2026, Changes will provide a creative lens across the event, exploring how the industry responds to – and creates – change.

From shifting directions and evolving interiors to altered spaces, refurbishments, new technologies and transformative guest experiences, the theme will come to life through installations, talks, activations and the products showcased across the exhibition.

A new home for hotel design

The move to Excel London marks the next chapter for HIX.

Positioned as a connected curated campus, HIX Europe will use the venue as a blank canvas for an immersive hotel design experience, with installations, activations and talks woven throughout the show floor. Excel London also offers direct connections via the Elizabeth Line, making the event easily accessible from central London and the capital’s airports.

The event will take place alongside AHEAD Europe, the hospitality industry’s leading awards programme, which moves to Magazine London for its 2026 edition. Together, the two events will create a wider European hospitality design campus, connecting designers, operators and developers across the two venues.

HIX Europe brings together the complete hotel interiors ecosystem, from furniture and FF&E to lighting, fabrics, bathrooms, surfaces, technology, objects and more.

The 2026 exhibition features an evolving mix of established names, returning favourites and new voices. Returning exhibitors include Laufen, Hypnos Contract Beds, Panaz, Hansgrohe Group, Julian Chichester and Porta Romana, while new exhibitors include Libra Interiors, Nalesso, Contract Chair Company and Porter Bathroom.

HIX Talks: Where the people shaping hospitality take centre stage

At the heart of the programme, HIX Talks will bring the people behind some of the most exciting new hotel projects to the central stage. Curated by Sleeper Magazine and hosted by industry strategists Philippa Wagner and Heleri Rande, the programme will explore the ideas, trends and shifts shaping hospitality across Asia, the Americas, the Middle East & Africa and Europe. Architects and designers including Jouin Manku, Elastic Architects, Muza Lab, Lind + Almond, Tatjana von Stein and Goddard Littlefair will share the thinking behind projects including Park Hyatt Tokyo, Delano Miami, Here. Maldives, The Newman London, The Dean Munich and Mandarin Oriental Vienna, alongside conversations with leading developers and operators. Through quick-fire presentations and on-stage discussions, HIX Talks will examine how changing guest expectations, destinations and approaches to design are reshaping the hotel experience.
