Garrett Leather has collaborated with Mark Berryman Design to create the exclusive collection - New Forest. Located in the New Forest studio on the south coast of England, Mark Berryman Design specializes in high-end interiors for superyachts of distinction and shares a passion for ingenuity and authenticity in handcrafted luxury.

Mutual curiosity for innovation in colors, patterns and textures steered the design of this collection—which has particularly attractive visual and tactile appeal. Unlike anything currently on the open market, these sensory attributes are a direct homage to the natural elements of the New Forest. In a world of ever-increasing stress, the New Forest collection offers a haven of harmony, featuring organic materials that bring the serenity of the outdoors into interiors.

The four lines of the New Forest Collection, Hawkhill, Bolderwood, Exbury and Keyhaven, are inspired by the idyllic glades and ancient woodlands of the New Forest Nature Reserve. The spirit of this ancient habitat is personified by the introspective artistry and personal handcraft of each article. All made with European, premium quality hides, the depth and nuance of color ensures beautifully versatile and enduring products. Hawkhill, Bolderwood, Exbury and Keyhaven are all sold in full hides averaging 54-57 square feet. They pass IMO flammability requirements for private yachts and may be treated to pass FAR requirements for aviation use.

Hawkhill

Hawkhill

This roughout semi-aniline leather reflects the organic and evolving adaptability of our ever-changing world. Hawkhill is made in Italy and finished with natural resins. The hides are milled and artfully sanded to obtain the visceral textures found in our natural environment. Hawkhill is reversed natural grain leather with a soft, tactile finish and well-worn appearance. It is recommended for moderate to low traffic areas.

Bolderwood

Bolderwood

Earthy and layered, Bolderwood harkens the sanctuary of an ancient coniferous canopy and the rich resolute of the centuries-old, undisturbed woodland floor. Bolderwood is embossed with a beautiful organic pattern that is accentuated by hand-finishing artistry, giving depth to the final appearance. As a LeatherShield product, Bolderwood has excellent durability and is recommended for all upholstery applications.

Exbury

Exbury

Exbury exhibits a spectacular collision of color and texture. Decadent details are exemplified with its large grain pattern. Exbury is a durable, semi-aniline leather and recommended for all upholstery applications. Its hand-tipped and antique finish ensure a beautiful and lasting appearance.

Keyhaven

Keyhaven

Relaxed and restful, Keyhaven channels the unique colors and shapes of eroded rocks where fossils have embedded. Its granular, small grain pattern and handcrafted finish give Keyhaven its distinctive touch. Keyhaven is an embossed, semi-aniline leather with excellent durability and is recommended for all upholstery applications.

The New Forest Collection reflects nature’s palette. Its serene colors have a calming influence and capture the visual serenity of the organic world. When it comes to incorporating Hawkhill, Bolderwood, Exbury and Keyhaven into your designs, imagination is the only limitation. The New Forest Collection can be used in any way you desire to create timeless appeal for any space or application.

Bring the outdoors into your interior and harmonize with all that is nature.

This May, Graham & Brown brings art into the home with the launch of its exclusive TATE collection, in the form of 32 fully customisable wall murals. These showcase some beautiful works of art by artists, including J. M. W. Turner, Claude Monet, Ethel Walker, Jessica Dismorr and Vincent Van Gogh.

Pasmore - Spiral Motif. A pioneer in British abstract art throughout the 1940s and 50s, Pasmore’s Spiral Motif in Green, Violet, Blue and Gold.
Monet - Poplars on the Epte. Part of a series of paintings completed in 1891, his impressionist style captures the trees’ leaves with strong directional brushstrokes.

Rosey Blackmore, Licensing and Merchandise Director at TATE:

“We are thrilled to be working with Graham & Brown on a collection of murals which gives people the chance to live with the art they love. Our mission at Tate is all about encouraging the enjoyment of art- and we believe that these products will truly do that.”

Kandinsky - Swinging. Kandinsky rejected realism in his abstract pieces, believing instead that art should mimic music and avoid all references of the material world.
Turner - Chichester Canal. This tranquil oil painting depicts the beauty of Chichester canal in rich ochres and subtle blues, and captures the reflections casted by the setting sun.

Alan Kemp, Head of Brand at Graham & Brown:

“We [Graham & Brown] are privileged to have had the opportunity to browse the TATE collection and choose some exquisite works of art to create some of the most stunning custom murals available. It has been a truly exhilarating project to work on. As TATE has a vast archive containing some of the most iconic pieces of art in the world, we had some tough decisions to make, but we are thrilled to be able to bring these great pieces into the home. Why frame your favourite painting when you can have a wall full of it, or your very own ceiling mural? Your favourite piece of art your way, is only limited by your imagination.”

Turner - Lucerne. This piece is one of many studies of the Swiss lake which the artist visited during his extensive travels around Europe.
Gilbert - Blackmore Vale. Gilbert captures the lush greenery of the Blackmore Vale of Dorset in this oil painting.

This exclusive range of murals includes works from Dutch pioneer of abstract art, Piet Mondrian, who developed from early landscape pictures to geometric abstract works such as Composition with Yellow, Blue & Red (1935). Contrastingly, Victor Pasmore's Spiral Motif in Green, Violet, Blue and Gold: The Coast of the Indian Sea (1950), presents a harmony of colourful curvilinear forms, a striking piece, perfect for creating a focal point in any room.

Turner Gateway to the Flower. This intricately detailed etching depicts the elaborate gateway into the flower gardens of Farnley Hall in Yorkshire.
Whistler - Nocturne. Adorned with Whistlers characteristic butterfly signature, Nocturne: Blue and Silver - Chelsea depicts the River Thames at dusk.

British artist, Jessica Dismorr's, Abstract Composition (1915) features a series of pastel-coloured geometric forms, reminiscent of architectural components, overlapping on a black ground. A dark yellow triangular prism with a curved side provides a vertical focus and splits the composition in two. Another mural featuring Dismorr's works is Related Forms (1937), an abstract nature of works comprising of cooling blue hues.

Osborn - Beach at Dusk. With a muted colour palette of blues and browns, Beach at Dusk, St Ives Harbour showcases the tranquil scenery at twilight.
Crane - The Renaissance of Venus. Inspired by Botticelli’s famous Birth of Venus and painted during his honeymoon, Crane depicts the emergence of the Roman goddess of love.

Fully customisable to meet customers' specifications and dimensions, Graham & Brown's online easy-to-use, made-to-measure tool allows customers to personalise each of Graham & Brown's unique mural designs to their walls, making them easy to hang with minimal waste.

The range of Graham & Brown paper substrates allow the mural to be personalised even further. Handpicked by Graham & Brown studio, the selection of premium paper finishes each offer a key feature or benefit. From 'Premium Fabric Effect' , a woven textured finish perfect for masking existing wall imperfections, to 'Mica Fibrous' a luxurious lustre which shimmers in the light, you can choose a finish which is guaranteed to suit your personal style. The mural production is powered by renewable energy, it uses water-based inks and all papers come from sustainable sources.

Duncan - Bathing. With each figure appearing to represent the various stages of movement of one lone figure, this piece is full of motion and life.
Buhler - Carlyle Square. This rich green oil painting depicts the gardens of Carlyle Square, Chelsea.

Cover image: Sleter - A Representation of the Liberal Arts. Designed for the ceiling of the State Dining Room of Grimsthorpe Castle, this early 18th century oil painting created the illusion of a golden, coved ceiling which spills into the godly world. It features Minerva, goddess of wisdom and the arts, and Mercury, identified with reason and learning.

Introducing Bellissimo - a collection of sixteen distressed leathers designed to be remarkably livable, strikingly relaxed, and best of all, unexpectedly tasteful. Each uniquely beautiful. Bellissimo is designed to take what life dishes out, including the busy, active movements of kids, pets, and people. Its classic colors, casual appearance, and virtually scratch-resistant surface make it an excellent option for all upholstery applications, especially high traffic areas. It passes IMO flammability requirements for private yachts and may be treated to pass FAR requirements for aviation use.

This is a sophisticated leather with warmth, personality, and a one-of-a-kind appearance that seamlessly blends the best of both old and new, urban and rustic in one effortless design statement. The distressed surface of Bellissimo reveals a unique depth of color, soft luster, and a richly satisfying hand unlike anything that grandfather would recognize on his favorite recliner. Comforting? Absolutely. Boring? Never.

The rich and relaxed character of Bellissimo features a natural grain, which is accentuated as part of a multi-step tanning process and is not created by embossing. Bellissimo’s distinctive aged and distressed appearance is obtained by using a blend of waxes and dry milling. This important step breaks the wax finish and creates the unique pattern and personality of Bellissimo. Like all classic leathers, this natural and scratch-resistant surface will only improve with age.

Whether it’s used to adorn your client’s prestigious office space, comfortable home, relaxing yacht, or private jet, this remarkable leather will endure all of life’s precious moments with ease and grow even more beautiful over time. Silestone - Ethereal Noctis

Silestone® by Cosentino, the leading global hybrid mineral surface for the world of architecture and design, is excited to introduce its second collection worldwide under its new corporate image. The new Silestone® emblem and character has given rise to the Ethereal collection, which is supported with a major campaign featuring entrepreneur and international fashion icon, Cindy Crawford.

Ethereal by Silestone® represents a quantum leap in terms of design, innovation and sustainability, in line with the transition that Silestone® is undergoing externally and internally with the development of the cutting-edge HybriQ® and HybriQ+® technologies. This evolution of Silestone® has inspired Ethereal, a collection of white canvas surfaces with intricate marble look patterns which recreate the natural beauty of the sky, perfect for both commercial and residential projects where a modern yet timeless aesthetic is desired.

Silestone - Ethereal Dusk

This marble-inspired collection consists of four colours, namely Ethereal Dusk, Ethereal Haze, Ethereal Glow, and Ethereal Noctis. Silestone - Ethereal Glow

Silestone® Ethereal Colours

Ethereal Glow is simply pure, classic elegance. Its golden and grey veining merges with a tinged white foundation, with veining running through the entire design to bring an accent of colour to every corner. Inspired by the sunset and its igneous colours and glow, it is an evolution of Silestone®'s internationally acclaimed and widely popular Eternal Calacatta Gold colour.

Ethereal Haze includes a dynamic range of grey tones to emit plenty of personality. It takes inspiration from the way the wind moves the clouds over the mountains, with the result both calm and characterful thanks to an interplay of gradients which blend into pure neutrality.

Ethereal Noctis is synonymous with sophistication. The tinged white foundation is broken up with short grey and black veins, providing contrast, depth, simplicity and modernity, inspired by the darkness after sunset.

When it comes to choosing a durable, hardwearing, easy-clean, low-maintenance flooring solution for a large family home, Dekton® is the ideal solution. For Michael Stephenson and the team at HG Design Solutions, who were tasked with designing the interior of this large Northumberland family home, Dekton® Soke 8mm x 1420mm x 1420mm floor tiles were the perfect choice for the entire downstairs layout, including the open-plan kitchen-living area, dining room, utility and grand entrance hall.

Created in collaboration with Shaun Ramsey Construction, the project involved applying Dekton® Soke flooring throughout the downstairs of the property and out into the garden area, creating a seamless finish and flow throughout the entire house and garden. Part of the Dekton® Industrial Collection, the Soke tiles are inspired by classic cement floors with realistic veining and a statement grey finish that beautifully complements the traditional style of this home’s interior décor.

Highly resistant to UV rays, scratches, stains and thermal shock, Dekton® is the ideal choice for homeowners looking for a durable, hardwearing solution for floors, worksurfaces and wall cladding both indoors and out. What's more, carbon neutrality has been achieved for the entire life cycle of Dekton, so homeowners can rest assured that their surface of choice is sustainable and helps build a better future.

Dekton® was also selected for the kitchen worksurfaces as well as for the table in the dining area that flows effortlessly from the open-plan kitchen-living space. Dekton® in Olimpo was specified from PWS Worksurfaces and as part of the Stonika Xgloss Collection, it offers a luxurious Carrara marble look and feel with grey veining on top of a cool white background.

Michael Stephenson, Director and Founder of HG Design Solutions, explains the process behind the design, “We introduced the client to Dekton and it was after he and his wife came to the Darlington centre to view the materials that they agreed on Soke for the flooring and Olimpo for the worksurfaces and table top, as these were the perfect choice in terms of durability and style.”

The marble look of the Dekton® worksurfaces create wonderful contrast against the burnt orange banquette seating and wall colour within the dining area, which provide a pop of colour and add further personality to the design. It also looks stunning in the utility room with its rich, dark navy painted timber cabinetry and white wall units for a nautical look.

Dekton® by Cosentino is available in a range of designs, from industrial inspired to marble look.

Silestone® Ethereal & HybriQ+®

Silestone® Ethereal is the result of HybriQ+®, the exclusive and pioneering technology developed for Silestone® by Cosentino. HybriQ+®, launched in 2020, is a qualitative leap in the evolution of Silestone® brand. It is a new production process characterised by the company’s commitment to the environment, the circular economy and sustainable management. With HybriQ+®, in addition to Cosentino’s environmental milestones, such as the use of 99% recycled water and 100% renewable electric energy in the production process, at least 20% of recycled raw materials are used in the manufacture of Silestone®.

Furthermore, HybriQ+® technology stands out for its new formulation in the composition of Silestone®, where the presence of crystalline silica is significantly reduced. Instead, a new hybrid formulation of mineral raw materials with equal or better performance than quartz and materials of a recycled origin is used. With this new composition, Silestone® benefits from the same mechanical and technical features and an appearance that enhance its beauty, but with a sustainable focus and new design possibilities including improved depth and translucency.

Ethereal Noctis

About Silestone® by Cosentino

Concrete LCDA introduce a new Panbeton collection of surface panels, consisting of five new designs, two of which were made in collaboration with Neri & Hu and Jean-Philippe Nuel.

Panbeton® Lines

Panbeton Gèn by Neri & Hu

The Chinese character 亘 “gèn” is composed of two lines at the top and bottom, with the character for “sun” nestled in between. The horizontal strokes, one representing the heavens above and the other representing the earth below, allude to the infinite extension of the horizon, embodying the notion of a spatial and temporal continuity. The design for the panel is composed by a series of well-proportioned raised lines that could appear to extend infinitely across a surface, drawing a direct connection between landscape and dwelling, ground and sky.

Panbeton Graphite by Jean-Philippe Nuel

Studio Jean-Philippe Nuel has created a new model of ultra-lightweight, high-performance fibre-reinforced concrete panels for Concrete LCDA, called “Graphite”.

Continuing along the same lines as the Chevrons and Timber panels – the one derived from the imprint of Haussmann wood flooring, and the other influenced by wooden formwork slats – Graphite retains a woody touch, as it draws its inspiration from the graphic designs created by different species of wood as they burn. Because depending on whether you burn Douglas fir, Accoya, oak or pine, the surface of the wood will take on a cracked, flaky texture, long grooves or smooth, tight curves.

In architecture, charred wood is traditionally used in exterior cladding, as it provides natural protection to the wood. This Japanese technique is known as “shou sugi ban”. It involves charring the surface of a board, deep down, until a superficial layer of charcoal forms, which will protect the material from the effects of weather.

“The Graphite panels do more than just use charred wood: they feature a graphic composition which plays with the textures of the different finishes, almost like inlays. This way, the panels take a contemporary, creative approach to reinterpreting a secular tradition.”

The result of this assembly is a concrete panel with a flowing geometric design which can be extended length-wise and height-wise like wallpaper. This cladding will add character and a strong identity to any room it adorns.

The Brutalism Collection is adding three new models by Studio LCDA: Panbeton® Striation, Lines and Rugged.

As a new tribute to the Brutalist architectural style, this collection refers to the concrete used in buildings, to the raw material which reveals the traces and texture inherent to its installation.

Studio LCDA utilizes a language based on simple geometric shapes, repetitive modules and linear forms. “We wanted to let the concrete express its fundamental nature and its streamlined and pulled-out variations, making it possible to fully appreciate its minerality and its imperfections.”
