Premium bathroom retailer C.P. Hart presents a series of all-new bathroom room set displays designed by Yousef Mansuri, C.P. Hart’s Director of Design. Created to inspire and refine product selection, the room sets are immediately available to view in their flagship Waterloo showroom, with bookings recommended to ensure the availability of a sales consultant.
Part of C.P. Hart’s annual launch, the room set displays showcase a breadth of classical and contemporary bathroom collections, featuring new-to-market products from world-leading makers, including Artelinea, Duravit, Samuel Heath, and more. Also featured is a selection of C.P. Hart’s new exclusivities, spanning ceramics, WCs, and brassware, only available from C.P. Hart.
Below, Yousef Mansuri walks us through three of the new C.P. Hart Waterloo room sets.
“This room set display demonstrates how small bathrooms can still feel airy and inviting. Here, I featured Artelinea’s compact Monolite vanity unit that provides invaluable storage with its two soft-close drawers, wall-mounted for additional floor space. The sit-on washbowl from our exclusive Kali ceramics range complements the curves of the mirror and WC – also part of the Kali collection – finished in Matt White and chosen for its premium surface-coating technology. To keep the vanity uncluttered, I opted for the Brushed Nickel wall-mounted basin mixer from our new and exclusive Flo brassware range.
The Matki Eauzone silver mesh wetroom panel adds depth to the scheme, created by encasing metallic mesh within two layers of safety glass for a characterful, hand-woven appearance. Opposite, I chose the Zehnder heated towel rail in the Volcanic finish, drawing on the wetroom panel’s darker tones.
Herringbone floor tiles are an excellent way to introduce pattern and texture into a scheme. For this bathroom, I chose to install Minoli’s Dreamwell tiles on both the floor and wall to create a greater sense of openness. The herringbone tiles are softened by the large format tiles on the side walls, also installed to ceiling height to maximise the neutral stone effect.”
“Bold and pattern rich, this impactful suite combines classical and contemporary styling. I chose Artelinea’s Kimono vanity for its intricate fluted detailing and curved front, which wonderfully offsets the harsh lines created from the edge of the tiled splashback.
Dramatic tiling was a significant focal point for this suite. As such, I selected the striking bookmatched crystal-effect tiles as a backdrop to the Bette One inset bath, clad in bespoke Black Stone with a step for easy access. The backsplash’s marble-effect tiling is continued into the shower, screened by the black-framed Border wetroom panel with fluted glass to complement the vanity unit.
Perhaps one of my favourite design elements, Samuel Heath’s new One Hundred brassware range is installed at the basin, bath, and shower. Finished in Stainless Steel, the brassware collection features translucent crystal glass and painstakingly knurled escutcheon detailing.”
“This suite presents a modernised British period suite showcasing the White Tulip collection, designed for Duravit by Philippe Starck – his first-ever complete bathroom range. Inspired by Starck’s love of natural forms, this Duravit collection features sophisticated sanitaryware, brassware, and soft-close furniture, all of which mimic the opening of a blooming tulip’s petals in an almost sculptural manner.
To utilise the vast floorplan, this bathroom features two basins – both from the White Tulip range – positioned at either end of the room. The first is the two-drawer vanity unit, finished with American Walnut drawer fronts to add warmth and tonal depth. The second is the rectangular basin on the metal console stand, complete with a display shelf and twin towel rings.
I chose to install the White Tulip mirrors above both vanity areas. Their LED lights emit a soft glow on all four edges, controlled via an app with a dimming function to create that perfect ambience.”
Please visit C.P. Hart Waterloo to view all room sets - only first-hand inspection proves true product quality. Though appointments are not required, C.P. Hart recommends booking an appointment ahead of your visit to ensure the availability of a sales consultant.

Garrett Leather is pleased to introduce Mira - a collection of olive tanned, natural grain, premium leather. This exclusive collection is a unique pull-up leather with self-healing resiliency. Mira, meaning “to look” or “behold”, encourages designers to experience the restorative capabilities, rich colors, exceptionally soft hand, and pleasant fragrance that this leather offers.
Mira balances luxury and sustainability with a heightened focus on material awareness and longevity. Olive tanning reduces carbon emissions and has an overall lower environmental impact. It facilitates a circular economy, safeguarding value in the form of energy, revitalization, labor and materials. The patented wet-green® OBE tanning agent is a byproduct of fallen olive tree leaves sourced in the Mediterranean. Rather than burning or discarding the leaves, they are collected and brewed like a tea. This extract is the same concentrate found in extra virgin olive oil and natural cosmetics. The result is a bio-based, extraordinarily soft leather that engages your senses. In the spirit of full transparency, this leather achieved Declare status and is LBC Red List Free.
When Mira is stretched or pulled, the color migrates and becomes lighter in the pulled areas, exhibiting signs of energy and life in each hide. It’s a marvelous display of nature’s beauty and authenticity, with prominent natural and unique markings, such as neck wrinkles and striations. Varied degrees of mottling add to the depth and layers of color. An evolved palette of high-impact, organic colors tap into our optimism and inspiration for our most treasured spaces.
Mira is finished with a combination of transparent waxes and oils, which highlights the natural grain and accentuates its exceptional softness. Alluringly supple and inviting, you’ll immediately discern Mira’s rich, full-bodied hand-feel.
Created with longevity in mind, Mira’s self-healing and restorative capabilities celebrate nature’s perseverance.
Light marks and scratches will appear with use and fade over time. Mira ages beautifully, developing a rich patina. It is recommended for all upholstery applications, especially in residential, corporate, and hospitality settings, as well as vertical wall applications.
Thoughtfully crafted and effortlessly beautiful, Mira sheds a new light on olive tanned leather. All ten LBC Red List Free and GREENGUARD GOLD® Certified colors are in-stock and available for immediate shipment. Mira is sold in full hides averaging 45 square feet. Luxury bath and kitchen brand GRAFF and prestigious American industrial designer Stephen Burks present Faucet Fantasy, an artistic installation drawing attention to the importance of water conservation. Burks, known for using artisan and handcrafted influences in his designs, will showcase nine GRAFF faucets in luxurious finishes, reimagined in his signature mix of bright colours with natural and manmade materials.
“Inspired by the graphic flow of water, Faucet Fantasy showcases nine luxurious faucets in a colorful array of handcrafted finishes, textures, and materials,” Burks said. The eye-catching installation generated considerable buzz among the attendees at the unveiling event.
Faucet Fantasy represents GRAFF's Art of Bath sustainability program. GRAFF is an actively green brand, from using lead-free materials in its products to adhering to zero waste in its lean manufacturing system. The brand is inherently dedicated to water conservation, understanding our most valuable resource's role in a healthy ecosystem. In 2012, GRAFF raised the bar on eco-standards by automatically including water-saving systems with all bathroom-sink and kitchen faucets, and showerheads. Partnering with sustainable projects worldwide, GRAFF strives to make luxury green.
Founder and President of GRAFF, Mr. Ziggy Kulig, commented: "For GRAFF, quality, design and sustainability, go hand in hand. We look to align with creatives whose own work embodies this same philosophy. We are pleased to partner with Stephen Burks for creating an exclusive sculpture installation. We hope his creation will inspire viewers to do their part in supporting water conservation initiatives."
Burks’ installation also dovetails seamlessly with GRAFF’s rich heritage of artisanship and craftsmanship in production. “For Faucet Fantasy, we were looking at the idea of bringing the hand to industry and presenting a range of products that give the customer a sense of what’s possible,” said Burks. Together with his studio Stephen Burks Man Made, Burks has been commissioned by many of the world’s leading design-driven brands to develop collections that engage hand production as a strategy for innovation.
As a product development consultant, Burks has worked in close collaboration with artisans and craftspeople around the globe. His work has been exhibited internationally and he has been the recipient of several awards, including being the only African American to win the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt National Design Award in Product Design. In 2019, he became the first Harvard Loeb Fellow in the discipline of product design and was recently an adjunct assistant professor of architecture at Columbia University’s GSAPP.
Following its unveiling at RNDD, the Faucet Fantasy installation will be on display at Chicago’s Studio 41 home design showroom from September 10th to September 30th and then at the GRAFF Design center at the Mart for Design Chicago.

Innovative strength, precision down to the smallest detail, personality and the courage to break new ground – these have been Dornbracht’s hallmarks since 1950. At that time, Aloys F. Dornbracht founded a fittings factory in Iserlohn, Germany, and caused a sensation with the invention of a pull-out spout – a genuine world first. In 1969, Dornbracht then presented its first luxury fitting; the Edition 2000.
Today, we are active in more than 125 countries and are famous worldwide for our design and architectural expertise. Our claim “Leading Designs for Architecture” underlines our leadership aspirations. Leading in the sense of “acting responsibly” means, above all, creating sustainably lasting value and developing products that will endure.
Together with our partner Sieger Design, we continuously sound out trends and tendencies in architecture and interior design. Collaboration with interior designers is therefore the core of our work, because only in direct exchange do we understand the needs of the market. It is always a pleasure for us to inspire them with our bathroom architectures. At the same time, the exchange of experiences also enriches our work immensely.
With Dornbracht Pro Services, we provide the support expected from a premium partner – from personal advice and planning support to the provision of all necessary product and planning data to customized spare parts offers on a project basis.
As a place of well-being, the bathroom plays a central role in every house and flat. The effect of water – whether at the washstand or in the shower – makes a significant contribution to our ability to relax and unwind from everyday life there.
In the kitchen – the place where people come together – the fitting has a more functional role. But it is decisive in whether we find the cooking experience enriching.
Dornbracht manufactures high-quality designer fittings and accessories for the bathroom, spa and kitchen. Proportion, precision, progressiveness, performance and personality – these are the five design principles that distinguish each of our products. Combined with uncompromising quality, they ensure the longevity and stylistic confidence of the fittings – for many years to come. Furthermore, our curated range of finishes offers numerous design options.
The individualisation trend reflects the central principle of the current age: Self-determination and self-realisation, uniqueness and personal freedom of choice are becoming the driving force more than ever. This can also be transferred to the interior sector. Whether with a high-quality mix of materials or coloured elements – our customers expect the greatest possible choice to design their bathroom and kitchen according to their own ideas. We meet this demand with a wide range of products and our x-tra service, which realises special designs.

KI has confirmed that Postura+ will begin a transition to a circular economy, with all one-piece chairs manufactured from December 2022 set to contain at least 30% recycled polypropylene.
Following over 3 years of trials and testing, this achievement sets an important milestone on KI’s journey towards taking a leading position in the circular economy. Over the coming years, KI will work towards increasing this percentage to future milestones 50, 80 and ultimately 100%, bringing all standard colours into line with the increasingly popular Jet Black chairs which are already made with 100% recycled content.
The unique, UK-based supply chain development will see 600 tonnes per year of waste plastic being fed into the standard production process, the equivalent of over 2,000,000 food containers per annum. These new mixed virgin/recycled polypropylene chairs have been rigorously tested and have achieved the same certifications and standards as the fully virgin plastic chairs, so the unparalleled, proven Postura+ 20-year warranty remains in place.
Jonathan Hindle, President, KI EMEA comments: “We manufacture approximately 400,000 one-piece Postura+ chairs alone each year, making it one of our most successful and high-volume product lines. Eliminating 600 tonnes of virgin polypropylene from this supply chain demonstrates our commitment to realistic, impactful steps towards sustainable practices, without compromising colour options, quality, durability and warranties.”
Jeremy McWhinney, KI’s Finance & Operations Director adds: “Whilst other products in our lives have been able to utilise recycled polypropylene for years, they are routinely single or limited use items – Postura+ chairs must withstand the toughest learning environments for decades. The testing and production processes involved have been years in the making, and we look forward to continuing our journey towards our ambition of 100% recycled content in the future.”
This innovation in Postura+ chair production further enhances the product’s environmental performance, outlined in its independently verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). Manufactured in the UK, these chairs are transported in 100% recyclable packaging, and are themselves 100% recyclable at their end of life.
Alison Mallett, KI Europe’s Director of Education Furniture comments: “Our customers both in the UK and across Continental Europe are looking for ways to reduce the environmental impact of their procurement practices, without adding unrealistic cost or compromising quality. What we’ve managed to achieve with Postura+ chairs is a fantastic step in the right direction and we are confident that this exciting news will be met with great enthusiasm from our customers.”

Canadian luxury handmade furniture and lighting brand Gabriel Scott has launched its latest lighting collection, Welles Reimagined, in collaboration with six global designers and architects to celebrate Gabriel Scott’s tenth anniversary in 2022.
The established designers have reinterpreted the studio’s most iconic fixture, the Welles Chandelier. The six fixtures, first showcased at Milan Design Week 2022, have now been formalised into six capsule collections which include chandeliers, sconces and pendant lighting.
Scott Richler, Gabriel Scott’s Founder and CEO, explains: “The Gabriel Scott brand launched on a manifesto to furnish the architectural community with exactly what they needed, and we’re still doing this through material, size and form ten years later. Inspired by jewellery, the Welles Chandelier is a true representation of our design philosophy - to design and make modular products to custom specifications. The Welles Reimagined capsule collections celebrates our brand ethos and the collaborations we undertook with each designer perfectly demonstrate how we like to work together with our design and architecture clients to achieve something really special and tailored to their requirements.”
The David Rockwell capsule collection celebrates the Welles Chandelier’s classic geometric form, while creating a contemporary light fixture inspired by clusters found in nature, such as crystals, chemical compounds, and clouds. Ultimately, Rockwell drew from botanic forms to create an organic assemblage. The hollowed glass polygons act as metallic light points that come together at varying heights and dimensions to form a floating light cluster. The feature chandelier is defined by its luxe volume and organic nature.
“The collaboration allowed us to create something very special that combines Gabriel Scott’s modular approach to lighting and expert craftsmanship with our focus on storytelling and materiality. We experimented with volume, color, texture, and scale to create organic assemblages of light that have a dramatic impact on the atmosphere and our perception of space.” – David Rockwell.
Crafted from white clay and inspired by a collection of ceramics she is currently designing, the Kelly Hoppen capsule collection comprises a single flush-mount sconce suitable for both wall and ceiling installation, a pendant light, a single sconce on a banded arm and the Welles Long Chandelier in three sizes. The overall form has been scaled down from its original size to create an elegantly delicate aesthetic.
“When I was asked to do it, obviously it’s a very iconic piece already, but instantly I knew I wanted it to be a chalk white, clay, very organic piece, because that would make it incredibly different from anything Gabriel Scott had done before.” – Kelly Hoppen, CBE.
Alessandro’s capsule collection has a beautiful narrative infused with dynamic and bold fashion references inspired by rhythmic dance. It includes the 12-module central chandelier as seen in Milan, a scaled down 8-module chandelier, a larger 18-module chandelier and an arm sconce. While its volume is radically different, the modular qualities are still able to extend for extra tall ceilings and multiply for larger spaces. This flexibility makes it a truly versatile and playful product that invites designers to create bespoke configurations.
“One of the key features that inspired us was how architectural the Welles is, yet extremely detailed and jewellery-like - even the slightest of components like the bracket is beautifully designed. It felt like a sculptural piece of art. So, we drew inspiration from couture fashion, from dance, and when we immersed ourselves in this world, we thought about deconstructing the original piece and rebuilding it in a completely different way.” – Alessandro Munge.
Michelle turned to nature to add a floral element that represents growth and bloom, alluding to a rebirth of a classic Gabriel Scott design. Uplifting and joyful, Michelle Gerson’s capsule collection includes a vertical sconce and small, medium and large versions of the chandelier first seen in Milan.
“The vision is nature. We tried to take a more geometric, modular, masculine type fixture and break it up and create what we thought would be blossoms, branches and leaves. We mixed up the materiality a little by using mesh to create a lightness, we wanted it to feel spacey, alive and happy.” – Michelle Gerson.
As a contrast to the sharp metal and glass silhouette of the original Welles, Sybille’s interpretation reveals the feminine side of her signature design style. Couture-inspired, elegant and smooth, the capsule collection shows a gradient composition from emptiness to full, with a variation of hollow and plain shapes. It comprises a sconce, cluster sconce, the standard chandelier as seen in Milan, and a smaller version. All fixtures include padded vegan leather to create a subtle 3D effect and rounded corners to add softness.
“We love leather because we find it’s a very elegant finish and combined with a soft bronze, this is our vision of luxury which is very understated.” – Sybille de Margerie.
Guan’s design is a striking floor installation, illuminated by light bulbs and made from POLiROCK, a new material developed by Material Architecture Lab. The fired clay has unique characteristics, somewhere between ceramic and rock. It appears natural but is made by recycling manufacturing waste. Due to the nature of this design, it can be customised from the original form that was shown in Milan. For commissions, Guan and the Gabriel Scott’s design team will work with the client to deliver something bespoke.
“The first thing I thought was that it would be nice to have a contrasting material, so instead of something transparent something solid that allows light to go through in a very particular way.” – Guan Lee.
