This autumn, Forbes & Lomax is excited to launch its new Micro Dimmer pack. The micro dimmer pack allows you to adjust the brightness of LED lights when used in conjunction with fully retractive switches, such as the Forbes & Lomax retractive dolly switch and momentary button.
It is the first-of-its-kind for centre-off retractive switches and is perfectly suited for use with the Forbes & Lomax centre-off retractive dolly switch. Micro dimmer packs can be installed directly behind the switch and controlled at the touch of a button. Due to their compact size, they are ideal where space is limited.
Micro dimmer packs can be retrofitted and therefore offer an uncomplicated way of updating switches, as no extra wiring is required.
All plates are handcrafted in the UK and assembled at the Forbes & Lomax workshop in South West London.
Tailored specifically for interior designers and architects, this session will explore the intersection of technology and design, demonstrating how the seamless integration of environmental systems can create spaces that are not only beautiful, but also more comfortable, efficient, and sustainable.
From practical applications to inspiring case studies, attendees will gain valuable insight into how invisible yet essential elements such as heating, cooling, lighting, and automation can enhance the client experience while supporting design integrity.

They work beautifully with hand-painted decorative schemes as they can be integrated into the design – as demonstrated by the very talented artist @melissawickhampaints.
For this project, Melissa recreated a small-scale version of a larger mural she had painted in the past.

This socket enables you to power multiple devices at once and eliminates the need for additional charging adaptors. The sleek socket, which is available in eight Forbes & Lomax finishes has been designed to suit traditional and contemporary interiors.

This autumn, Forbes & Lomax is promoting its Painted range of switches and sockets. Designed to complement the famous Invisible Lightswitch®, its primed ready to paint plates are flush to the wall and can be painted in the same colour as a room and therefore, be disguised on a wall or skirting board, making them as unobtrusive as possible.
For the Painted switch, there is a choice of dolly (toggle) or rocker switches and dimmers, which are available with either conventional knobs or buttons. These are supplied in Brass, Brushed Brass, Nickel Silver, Stainless Steel and Antique Bronze.
Painted sockets are available with black or white inserts and come with radius or square edge corners.
