Following the recent success of SBID’s International Design Awards at Maison & Objet, Paris, in September 2011, SBID is proud to announce the opening of its 2012 Awards. 

These prestigious Awards will follow a different format with the awards split into two sectors, Contract and Residential, to better target the different profiles of SBID’s ever expanding membership base.

The SBID International Awards 2012 will therefore invite interior designers and manufacturers from around the world to submit their best projects and products.

2011

The inaugural SBID International Awards 2011 ceremony, which attracted entries from a wide array of high-end designers and architects around the world, was held on 11 September at the internationally recognised Maison & Objet exhibition in Paris.

• Best Architect Award – Yota HQ by Archido. Moscow, Russia

• Best Commercial Design Award – Strada Restaurant by De Matos Ryan. London, UK

• Best Sustainability Interior Design Award – Mintel HQ by Burrell Architects. London, UK

• Best Interior Design Award - Tsvetnoy Central Market by Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands (LDS). Moscow, Russia

• Best Luxury Small Space Award - M/Y Candyscape II by Candy & Candy.

• Overall Winner – Amethyste by HBA. Beirut, Lebanon
