SUMMARY:Discussion on Wellness Interiors at NY11+ Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:An opening reception with speaker programme will take place to celebrate the New York Eleven Plus (NY11+) Student Interior Design exhibition. \nPrincipal Partners and Design Directors from prestigious Healthcare Institutions and Architectural Interior Design Studios (specializing in Spas/Wellness Hospitality Projects) will have a lively discussion on the topic of “Wellness Interiors” with Student Representatives from the participating colleges and universities. \nPanelists include:\nNancie Min\, Design Director Clodagh Design \nElsie St Leger\, Healthcare Designer/Project Manager \nLaura Constantin\, NYS CID Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center \nJonsara Ruth\, Design Director Healthy Materials Lab \nSarah Levine\,CIDQ Principal ZGF Architects\, IIDA NY Chapter President \nAddison Hansen\, ASID Student Representative \nThe NY11+ Exhibition\, ‘Wellness of Interior Design’ will be at the Port Authority Midtown Bus Terminal until 30th April where the work of interior design students are to be displayed to educate the public on the benefits and potential of studying and practicing interior design. \nThe focus of the exhibit will be to highlight one of the most relevant issues of our day and entitled: HEALTH+SAFETY+WELFARE=WELLNESS. These representative\ninstitutions include Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT SUNY); New York School of Interior Design (NYSID); Parsons The New School (SCE); Pratt Institute; School of Visual Arts (SVA) and Villa Maria College. \nFind out more
