You can see for yourself all the latest trends in furniture design and meet the big names when you visit Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano\, usually held in April. \nThe exhibition showcases endless approaches to furniture and design from all around the world. It is the most prestigious place for designers to display their new products. Furniture\, lighting and other home goods are elevated here to the works of art. \nThe event is also sometimes called The Milan Design Week. It takes place at the Fiera Milano complex in the town of Rho\, a suburb of Milan. The fair was held for the first time in 1961 to showcase Italian furniture. It was sponsored by Federelegno-Arredo furniture trade association. \n
