The participants will be able to have one-to-one meetings with Turkish natural stone project installation companies that can supply the natural stones you may need in all building and design projects and exchange information with all participants. \nThe event is a part of a trade delegation which is sponsored by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade and organised by Istanbul Mineral Exporters’ Association (IMIB) with the Society of British and International Design (SBID). SUMMARY:RIBA Mailbox by Design
DESCRIPTION:Mailbox by Design is a series of design and architecture events that brings together leading industry professionals based in the West Midlands. \nAlternative Thinking – the work of K4 Architects \nBob Ghosh RIBA\, Founder and Director talks about the practice’s philosophy and unique approach to design. Their diverse portfolio is set within the context of cities\, market towns and remote rural settlements\, all with the common thread of Complexity. \nThe narrative focuses on a number of case studies\, which explore how historic layers are used to inform interventions and reinforce identity of place. Included will be the Beech Gardens project in Ludlow\, Shropshire\, which is shortlisted for this year’s RIBA Regional Awards. \nThe event will take place at Home at the Mailbox\, Birmingham’s premiere destination for interiors and homes that houses brands including Heal’s\, Calligaris and Made.com. \nDrinks and refreshments will be served from 6pm and over the course of the evening.
