Please note: The role of SBID President is independent of the organisation’s decision-making and management.
The decision is yours, SBID will contact you throughout the year to provide quotes for editorial, present prizes at universities, award ceremonies, Judge competitions etc. The role is not demanding, you determine your input against your working schedule.
Applicants must be an Accredited Member of SBID.
The term of President lasts for 12 months and commences in October, prior to that one year is spent in the role of President Elect, stepping in when the President is unavailable, and one year as Immediate Past President to offer the reigning and incumbent President advice when requested and occasionally step in to represent SBID when opportunities arise.
Besides improved industry awareness, raised personal and professional profile, and opportunities for publicity, the role will provide opportunities for the recipient to develop and shine a light on a the structure of professional interior design across the UK and around the world.
