The London Development Agency (LDA) is developing an internship scheme for London which aims to improve access for young people, increase the number of opportunities available and enhance the quality of internships whilst promoting the link between employers and graduates.

The scheme will be delivered over three years starting in September 2010. The Society of British Interior Design (SBID) is developing an internship scheme in association with the LDA and our University partners.

It is the aim of the Society to nurture the development of students and graduates on an interior design degree course through introduction to design, support and supply companies throughout a year of study across UK.

Such connection will form a long-term benefit to all participants. The mentoring for both parties will provide an immeasurable long term benefit through loyalty payback and vision through the eyes of the professions future.
