2013 01 09 – Maison & Objet and SBID Tender List Programme: ‘SBID appeals for manufacturers and designers to participate in the Olympics site regeneration. At a soft launch in MAISON&OBJET in Paris in September 2012, SBID announced a collaboration with property and infrastructure service providers to develop the East London Stratford site which has been home to the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics Games.’

2012 11 – SBID to lobby for suitable housing for injured servicemen: ‘SBID has partnered with Haig Housing Trust and Haig Homes in support of their ‘Coming Home’ campaign. SBID wants to ensure injured army personnel’s existing homes are adapted with fit-for-purpose products and will consult with real users to influence future legislation.’
2012 11 10 – SBID International Design Awards ceremony at the House of Lords: ‘SBID is hosting a quintessentially British afternoon tea at the House of Lords on Friday 30 November to present this year’s fifteen SBID International Design Awards winners with their crystal trophies.’
2012 11 06 – SBID launches CPD accreditation: ‘After two and a half years of planning, research and assessment, the SBID accredited Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme is now live for members and qualifying companies who wish to attend or host an event.’
2012 09 07 – SBID International Design Awards winners revealed: ‘Winners of the prestigious wp-content/2012 SBID International Design Awards, which attracted phenomenal entries from both leading brands and new talent from over 27 countries on all five continents, were announced at a presentation in Milan on Friday 7 September, as part of the Buyers’ Dinner for 700 people at Macef, Italy’s oldest B2B Trade Show.’
