The Science of a Healthcare Design. Planned and properly executed well informed design can ease distress, aid recuperation , provide independence and reduce the risks of accidents and infection. Seemingly simple design choices, such as lighting and colour scheme, can have a positive impact on well being and aid health and recovery.
The SBID Healthcare Design Advisory Council was formed to promote the healthcare benefits of good interior design, bringing together a talented and diverse group of specialist experts, interior design professionals and other industry related sectors to examine the impact of design and how it can be used to improve Healthcare Facilities.
